2025 RICHARD C. BRADLEY FISHING TOURNAMENT
MACRAE’S OF HOMOSASSA - RULES &REGULATIONS

  1. The entry fee is $80 per angler and is non-refundable. Checks should be made payable to the Richard C. Bradley Trust.
  2. Anglers MUST register and SHOULD attend the Captains Meeting which will be held at MacRae’s of Homosassa on Friday, June 13th, 2025, at 6:30pm. Registration is open Friday, June 13th from 3:30pm-6:30pm. You must be fully registered prior to fishing on Saturday. You can also register online at fishnwithchan.com
  3. The tournament will be conducted in accordance with The Florida Fish Wildlife Conservation Commission rules for size and catch limits for The State of Florida and any other jurisdiction that may have regulations in effect within the tournament waters. Any state or federal law that conflicts with these rules shall override these rules. All anglers are responsible for knowing and abiding by the rules of the tournament and by the state and federal laws governing fishing in this. All fish must be caught and weighed-in on the tournament day, during tournament hours.
  4. ANY Angler may participate on a charter boat provided ALL persons on the boat, INCLUDING THE CAPTAIN, are entered in the tournament and all persons on the boat come under the jurisdiction of the rules of the tournament.
  5. Anglers may fish anywhere on tournament waters accessible by boat, except areas designated as off limits or no fishing by local, state and/or federal officials.
  6. No angler at any time may alter any fish by length or weight with the intention of gaining advantage over another competing angler/team. In addition, no angler may hand or force feed any tournament fish.
  7. All competing boats must have all required US Coast Guard Safety Equipment!
  8. Weigh-In BEGINS on Saturday, June 13th, 2024 at 3:00pm @ MacRae’s lot just west of The Shed (look for tents). (Winning fish are based on overall weight based on FWC Rules Regulations) Weigh-In DEADLINE is 4:00pm for ALL anglers with NO EXCEPTIONS! You MUST be in line to weigh-in by 4:00pm!!!
  9. In the event of a TIE for weight or spots the WINNER will be DETERMINED by OVERALL LENGTH based on the FWC Regulations!

*** SPEAR FISHING WILL BE OPEN FOR GROUPER AND COBIA ***
GROUPER CAUGHT BY SPEARFISHING WILL BE BASED ON WEIGHT IN A SEPARATE CATEGORY ​FROM HOOK & LINE.
